Holi celebration in Brij Bhoomi, Uttar Pradesh, India is the most sought-after celebration of this Indian festival of Colors. In Mathura- Vrindavan, the birth place of the Lord Krishna Holi is not an affair of 1-2 days. Rather the celebration is grand and extends over a week. The celebration starts a week before the actual Holi, when the celebration is re-created the way Lord Krishna used to play Holi with Radha and his Gopis.
The highlight of Holi celebration in Mathura-Vrindavan are: Ladoo Holi, Lathmaar Holi, Widows Holi, Phoolon ki Holi.
This year in 2021, Me and Mountain is holding just a day Holi celebration instead of a week-long in view of the recent Pandemic and several restrictions imposed on social gathering. Although one can still plan out a week-long Holi celebration in Mathura-Vrindavan but we would still adhere to the precautionary measures to combat this Pandemic.
Gather in the Assembly point in New Delhi at 7:00pm on 28th March 2021 which would be communicated personally after enrollment.
We would be departing from Delhi by late evening so that even those working on 28th March 2021 can also join the celebration post duty.
We would start from Delhi in a Private vehicle for Mathura and shall take a halt on the way for the Dinner.
Wake up on the day of Holi and have a sumptuous breakfast before heading towards the city drenched in various colors.
Celebrate the most memorable Holi as you become a part of the riot, splashing colorful water and smearing everyone around you in Gulal. Relish the dishes specially prepared for Holi.
Return to you Hotel after playing Holi, get fresh and head back for Delhi.
